All-Time Leading Scorer

Senior Lana Wieseman is among the best women’s basketball players ever to suit up for Beloit.

In January, when the health and society major made a three-pointer against Illinois College, she moved to the top of the list of all-time scorers in the history of Beloit’s program with 1,463 points, surpassing Stacy Schmidt’92, who held the record for nearly 25 years. By the time the season ended, the 6-foot-1 forward from Lake Geneva, Wis., had tallied a career total of 1,639 points. Over her four years, she also recorded six 30-point games, including the all-time record of 37 against Monmouth College in 2015. She finished as the all-time leader in made free throws with 410. Wieseman was named Midwest Conference Player of the Year for 2015-16.
